Razor's cute smile and warm personality make him a delight to be around. With over 14 years in the sport, over 7000 jumps, 130 plus base jumps, Razor has been known to occasionally land on things he shouldn't.  After a few confidence beers, he's unstoppable, on the dance floor and elsewhere.  A man of contradictions, his latest hobby is dirt bike riding, he is lead singer in the famous heavy metal band Seven Header and chooses to fill his down time with Scrabble on his i-phone.

This suave gentleman has over 9000 skydives and is currently full time Manager at Skydive the Beach Sydney.  He has a wicked sense of humour that often leaves the office chickas gasping for breath (this also happens when we imagine him squeezing into his leather lederhosen for his upcoming December nuptials to the Austrian!).  Tim has two of the most loved hounds in Wollongong, although his baby (a bull mastiff puppy) is already more like a small horse than a dog!

Originally from Port Macquarie, Kip is a graduate of the New Zealand Skydiving Schools' Diploma of Skydiving and has blitzed 6500 skydives in under 6 years, a massive effort.  Kip has come a long long way from his first position with us as packer and occasional slave boy (don't remind him, it's a time in his life he'd rather forget!).  He is now one of our most experienced instructors, has the best laugh at the drop zone and is a base jumper as well.  Kip spends his spare time building rocket ships, wrangling his one year old son, and fixing stuff (ah, to have a useful man around the house! Sigh).

The original terminator, Arnie is our very own bionic man… well he did have a hip replacement in November 2006, and was jumping again within 3 months! With over 10,000 skydives, Greg is holds an Instructor A rating (the highest instructional rating possible). He started jumping as a naive 22 year old while in San Diego on a navy trip. Greg has achievements aplenty under his belt, including being a gold medal winning world champion, and Australian champion 5 times over, his most recent is a 25 way canopy formation Australian record early in 2007. This father of one has a dream holiday destination… Santorini.

We love this man; he makes us all feel good about ourselves. Both a skydiver and ex base jumper (wifey won't let him anymore now he's a Dad), this guy's an expert at controlled crash landings.  With an alter ego that matches that of Borat, Bowie is not often allowed out in public, in fact most of our newer staff have never even met him!  He has been known to scuba dive, sail boats and hang-glide, crash cars and drink irresponsible amounts of tequila.  Bowie is currently obsessed with model aeroplanes and helicopters and has a garage full of wreckages ("they'll fly again after I fix them, they will!").  He has two degrees and still cannot spell, occasionally snots himself when laughing and is a movie addict.  Looking after the boss is a full time job for most of the office staff at Skydive the Beach.

Rob is one of our most experienced skydivers at Skydive the Beach. He has been jumping for 18 years and has upwards of 10,000 jumps. He's represented Australia 6 times in international competitions, and says his greatest achievement is that he is "still alive"! Born in Lismore and grown in Lennox Head, this feisty carrot top likes dressing as a cow on the odd occasion (nothing to do with his upbringing apparently). Robbie holds an Instructor A licence and flies aeroplanes, hang-gliders, and parachutes at ultra-high speeds. Currently he's on the National Canopy Piloting team.

Not to be forgotten, Kim is the glue that holds all of our accounts together! Only seen a few days a week in the office (ah, the joys of being a working mother), Kim decides who has been naughty, who has been nice, and who deserves their pay this week. We are actually pretty glad that we don't see Kim too often, she has been known to regularly lead the office girls astray with her 'Chardy Thursdays', this results in a minimum amount of work being completed after the first bottle is opened. Lately she braved the skies for her first awesome jump and could be heard wondering why she left it so long.

Before he started with us 4 years ago Jimmy was pretty & polite, then he completed his AFF course and unfortunately turned into a skydiver. He fell in love with the sport after his side-kick Cam bought him a skydive for his birthday, Jimmy now has 1100 jumps to his name and rarely leaves the drop zone. If he’s not packing parachutes he is working as the self appointed marketing consultant, one day he might even finish his journalism degree. He can make a mean cup of tea, whistle really loudly and do impersonations; he’s also not a bad skydiver and recently took out the bronze medal at the NSW State Championships. He describes himself as “bubbly, quirky, enthusiastic and an all-round good friend with a heart of gold”, but we will always remember him as the kid who admitted on his first day "I love this job, I don't mind taking out the garbage or washing cupboards."

With 70 jumps to his credit and a Licence B, Ben is Skydive the Beach's Minister of Transport.  He packs parachutes, drives buses and is known as the fixer.  Widely regarded as the moral compass of the company (always pointing to fun), Ben is a part time youth worker who has recently returned from a great trip to Cambodia.  We try not to hold it against him that he drives a moped.

Kev is a family man who pays the bills with his adrenaline addiction.  He has over 10,000 jumps under his belt and has been in the sport an impressive 26 years, you are in experienced hands with this guy.  Bonsai plants and book reading round out the peaceful life of this big man who still has the ability to get into mischief when occasion knocks.

Annie is the calm, level head of the drop zone. Her years of experience nannying unruly children have made her more than qualified for keeping the drop-zone staff in line. Annie has been working in the skydiving world for over 3 years and survived 17 tandem jumps. She loves adventuring underwater for her thrills and has done over 50 scuba dives to date. Annie loves travelling and frolicking in the sun but she is a true grandma at heart. When she’s not at the drop zone you can find her scrapbooking, knitting, gardening or reading.

Ben claims he joined the sport because he wasn’t very good at anything else, but we know he’s a modest all-rounder. Ben has 4000 jumps to his name and during his 6 years skydiving has represented Australia twice in the ‘canopy piloting’ division of the sport. Before he started throwing himself out of a plane for a living he also had the brains to study environmental science at university. Ben is somewhat of a cosmopolite and prior to becoming an adrenalin junkie spent 4 years living in London as a barman and has been known to make (and consume) a tasty cocktail or 7.

Cam has tried his hand at almost every job at the drop zone. Over the past 3 years he has worked as Chief Dubber, GCO, driver and most recently parachute packer AKA lifesaver as he prefers to call it.  When Cam isn’t trying to run the drop zone by himself you’ll find him clowning around somewhere outdoors or adding to the 90 skydives he already has to his name. As a national competitor in Mountain Biking, Cam can often be found cruising the car park on his unicycle, showing off his skills to the ladies. Cam is a closet nerd and is currently studying to be a high school science teacher at uni. Despite all his achievements, he still claims his greatest accomplishment is teaching his bestie, and fellow packer, Jimmy how to swim. His feelings for Jimmy are quite possibly the best example of a bro-mance we have ever seen. He quotes: “I describe my relationship with Jimmy like this: Friendship is like peeing yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings."
